This is very last minute. I'm running the half marathon tomorrow (!!), Sunday Feb 11.

My prep hasn't been as extensive as last year, only started running again seriously around New Year! So I'm gonna need some luck AND some extra motivation.

Last year, you gave me such a good boost and helped many children in dire straits with your support and generosity. This year I'd love for us to contribute to the Ajyal Foundation's Emergency interventions for displaced children in Gaza.

"As of 10 Nov 2023, the reported death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to over 11,078 including 4,506 children and 3,027 women. Another 1,500 children are missing. With children representing 47.3% of the population of the Gaza Strip, and 41.7% of the West Bank, it is children who will pay the heaviest price in this war.

The impact it will have on children's lives is unfathomable as children are facing unimaginable risks to their safety, with a dire, life-long impact on their mental health and development.
