Dear Sailors’ Children’s Society Supporter,

As you are aware hardworking seafarers families turn to us for help following a traumatic event such as the loss of a family member, diagnosis of a terminal or life limiting illness or family breakdown. Our families, due to the circumstances they have found themselves in are living in poverty and the children suffer as a result.

Without our support families could not afford winter coats , shoes, school uniforms, extracurricular activities and even food and heating.

Our Christmas Appeal is more vital than ever this year, our families need additional support to be able to afford to feed their children and keep them warm. With your support we are able to provide our families with vouchers for the grocery store and grants to help cover essentials for their children. You will be helping us to make Christmas and the winter season a little more bearable for almost 500 children of Seafarers.
