The work that volunteer advisors do at Citizens Advise Elmbridge West is invaluable to the communities of Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames and Hersham and helps to make a real difference to peoples lives.

Clients come to our service presenting with a huge variety of different kinds of problems including many types of Debt, Benefit queries, Employment issues, Housing problems, Consumer disputes, Immigration, Family problems and Domestic Abuse.

Advisors meet with clients over the phone, face to face, or online to explore the problems they have come for help with. Some clients will need simple advice, some need to engage with us for a long period of time and have in depth case support.

The cornerstone of our service is the help, time, dedication and experitise of our trained volunteers.

Raising funding for training more volunteers will provide us with the opportunity to reach out and help more people within the community. With the ongoing fuel crisis and rise in interest rates, it is crucial to provide training for more volunteers to support the most vulnerable.

We estimate it costs about £2500 to train each volunteer adviser ready to be able to support our clients. Whatever you can donate today will go towards the costs of training a new brand new adviser to work at Citizens Advice Elmbridge West. Thank you very much for your support in advance.
