On Saturday 5th April 2025, something truly special is happening at City of Derry Airport — runners of all ages and abilities are taking on the Runway Run in support of Air Ambulance NI. This incredible event gives runners the rare opportunity to run a 5K along the runway at City of Derry Airport — but more importantly, it brings people together to support a cause that can mean the difference between life and death.

Air Ambulance NI is needed on average twice every day, delivering critical pre-hospital care to people who are seriously ill or injured. By taking part in the Runway Run and supporting this campaign, you’re helping to ensure the air ambulance can continue to reach patients when every second counts.
