Emma Withers, Victoria Mannis and I are taking part in Run the Runways 5k at the City of Derry Airport in aid of Air Ambulance NI.

As some of you may know, this is a cause that is extremely close to my heart. My dad suffered a cardiac arrest suddenly at home in September 2025, and despite the efforts of myself, NIAS and the staff at Air Ambulance NI he passed away. You never think you will need the services of something like this until unfortunately you do, and we as a family will never forget what they did not just for my dad but for us as a family. They not only did their utmost to save his life but held us and walked us through the most difficult time of our lives and we will forever be grateful to them.

The Air Ambulance gets tasked on average twice a day to critically ill and severely unwell patients providing life saving treatment, and any donation given goes directly into running this vital service.
