Story

The Cost Of Living crisis is having a significant impact on Rabbit Welfare within Scotland.

Demand for rescue services has increased overall by almost 10% since 2021. But more worryingly the reasons for surrendering are trending to include cost of ownership, financial hardship, veterinary costs and downsizing of properties.

Our veterinary costs have also increased, with average neutering costs having increased from a typical £80 in 2020 to around £150-180 in 2023!

We need your help to keep the service running so that those who can no longer afford to keep their rabbits healthy and happy, can turn to us for support. Please help us to ensure that these rabbits impacted by people's life circumstances can enjoy a long, happy future. 'Cause everybunny matters!
