SiMY works alongside 8-18 year olds in and around the Townhead area of Glasgow, providing opportunities when life doesn't, to help young people live life to the full!

We do this by providing:

'Space to Breathe'; spending time in nature, away from the city, benefitting from the physical and cognitive space this provides and having a lot of fun while we do it!

'Room to Grow'; reflecting on our personal lives, social lives, and social circumstances through supportive relationships and creative arts, celebrating the positives, and addressing the challenges together.

This year we have been doing this for 25 years, and we find ourselves working through a time when the need is greater than ever and funding is increasingly challenging.

That's why fundraisers like Couch to Countryside are so important to us, helping raise vital funds to support SiMY's work, providing Space to Breathe for those taking part, and helping encourage even more people to share our love of the great outdoors!
