Story
SiMY works alongside 8-18 year olds in and around the Townhead area of Glasgow, providing opportunities when life doesn't, to help young people get ootdoors and escape from day-to-day life to the hills where they can have;
'Space to Breathe'; spending time in nature, away from the city, benefitting from the physical and cognitive space this provides and having a lot of fun while we do it!
'Room to Grow'; reflecting on personal lives, social lives, and social circumstances through supportive relationships and creative arts, celebrating the positives, and addressing the challenges together.
This year marks 25 years of mighty work from SiMY for Glasgow's young folk and as the issue of already fiercely competitive funding pots growing smaller continues, the need for young people to access the type of support SiMY provides grows tenfold.
A wee crew have gathered to take on some stomping into the hills to help raise cash for the activities and programmes at SiMY this year.
Any shares, penny, pound or high five along the way is appreciated!
