Since 1936, Crossroads has provided young people with access to opportunities for experiential learning, social-emotional skill development, and relationship building with peers and mentors. Through unique challenges and growth opportunities, Crossroads participants become independent and resilient young people who are capable of building the future they wish to see.
2O2O was a year filled with suffering, turmoil, and discord. In Greater Boston, Crossroads youth and their families were among those hardest hit by the pandemic and social unrest. Educational, economic, and public health disparities laid bare the inequities that too many in our society face on a daily basis.Through innovation, determination, and heart, Crossroads delivered upon a promise that our community would not be cancelled by offering in-person and virtual programming in 2O2O.
With new hope on the horizon, we embrace 2021 with enormous enthusiasm, anticipation, and resolve to provide a Crossroads homecoming unlike any before: a return to familiar spaces, the shared experiences that unite us, and a community that will always be here.
