I am honored to help Crossroads provide a Homecoming for Crossroads youth--a return to familiar places, opportunities for learning, and an inclusive community. Crossroads is a very special youth development organization empowering over 1,000 Boston area youth to realize their potential and positively impact the world. Crossroads believes that young people can shape their own futures and should not be defined by their social and economic interests. I have been involved with Crossroads for Kids for the last six years and I am continually inspired by the resilience and enthusiasm of these kids. This past year has been a test like none other, as the familiar in person experiences became impossible. However, the kids continue to demonstrate their "challenge ready" mentality and have tackled a tough situation with an optimism others can learn from.
