The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileOur Ragnar Relay teams are taking on the ultimate team relay challenge, running 170 miles overnight from Sittingbourne to Brighton, making their run count for Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice service for Sussex. With your support we can reach more children in Sussex with our vital care services.
Chestnut Tree House cares for local children with life-shortening conditions giving them the chance to do all sorts of things that kids love doing. These children and families live in the moment, for the now. When you are facing the greatest of challenges, its the smallest of moments that really matter, taking time to relax, knowing your child is safe; splashing in the hydrotherapy pool together; talking to one of the nurses who understands exactly how difficult things are.
The hospice costs over £3.9 million per year to run. Families are never charged for their care and less than 6p in every pound is funded by central government, so we rely heavily on the generosity of our amazing supporters - the trekkers, the climbers and adventurers - to help us raise the rest and continue providing this vital care.
