Many of the animals the Centre takes in have suffered terrible experiences or have been simply abandoned on the streets like Tia. For many of the animals with us, this may be the first Christmas theyve spent in a safe environment with the love and care our expert team so lovingly provide.

It costs approximately £9,500 per week to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the many animals that need our help to find their forever families. However, as the temperatures drop our costs rise, keeping our animals cosy at night is costly and so the financial burden on the Centre increases.

You might not know, but Abbey Street is funded almost entirely by people like you. Your kindness and generosity will help so many animals find loving families this Christmas you are amazing! But for those that have to stay with us, we want to ensure this time of year is extra special.

The happiness the animals get from play sessions, even if a little unwell or disheartened from their experiences is a wonder to behold they really are inspiring. Your donation means you can be with the Centre in spirit as we provide a comforting and nutritious Christmas dinner, play and the dedicated care they need on their road to recovery.
