Welcome to the Versus Arthritis August Cycling Challenge JustGiving Page
The August Challenge is a flexible fundraising challenge, which you can adapt to make your own. All you need to do is set a target, ask friends and family to sponsor you, and raise as much as you can for Versus Arthritis!
Choose a target that suits you it could be doing cycling 1 mile a day, every day in August, or aim to cycle 200 miles over the whole month - and anything in between! You can do your miles on a static exercise bike or outside, with friends (following social distancing guidelines) or alone. You can also set a target of cycling for a certain amount of time each day rather than setting a distance.
We're coming together as millions of people wake up with arthritis every morning and face the day in pain, without the support and recognition they deserve. Versus Arthritis invest in breakthrough treatments, the best information and vital support for everyone affected by arthritis.
Together we will defy arthritis together. Thank you for your support
Fundraising Tips and Ideas:
1. Make a donation to your fundraising page to kick things off. £10 covers the cost of your t-shirt, and encourage friends and family to make a donation too!
2. In return for a donation, let friends and family choose something for you to cycle in, like a tutu, onesie or superhero outfit!
3. Create an August Cycling Challenge playlist and ask friends and family to add a song in return for a donation
4. Hold a sweepstake! Invite friends and family to guess exactly how many miles you'll cycle in August, and give a prize to whoever guesses the closest!
