On 14th September this year, Denise and Sandra will start their 100km walk from Sarria to Santiago in Spain - part of the famous St James pilgrim’s walk. They will walk for 6 days.

Funds are being raised for Saint Michael's Hospice in Harrogate. Denise and Sandra are passionate about this cause, both working at the charity shop in Ripon.

Sandra experienced the dedication and kindness of the Herriot homecare service when her partner was ill. Denise has also been affected, her partner’s late wife was in the hospice and received great care. Another of her friends recently benefitted from the hospice.

Cancer has affected so many people’s family and friends, so any support Denise and Sandra can provide for the service will be much appreciated.
