Dip A Day in October is our communities’ favourite fundraiser and we’re beyond excited for round two. Are you?

Dip A Day was born from our community’s love for our blue planet and eagerness to help save it. Over 5,000 people came together to collectively challenge themselves to dip in cold water every day throughout October 2022. All to raise money for ocean-saving work, whilst simultaneously reaping the rewards of the cold water on our wellbeing.

From water-filled whiskey barrels to highland locks. Lidos to lakes. Bathtubs to cold showers. Rivers to sea dips. Our community proved that they’re nothing short of inspiring with the variety of styles of dips that they did. You can dip anywhere that’s safe and accessible to you. Whether it’s your shower, paddling pool, lido, local beach or river, anyone can get involved.

Every penny goes towards ocean-saving work, to put an end to sewage pollution and plastic pollution that's crippling our blue spaces. Helping us to continue calling out dirty polluters to stop single-use at source, challenging the UK government and utilities on their shocking sewage pollution, turning the tide of plastic by running record-breaking beach cleans, creating change-making, pupil-led education programmes, and empowering every person everywhere to fight for the ocean. Surfers Against Sewage is a charity of water lovers campaigning to protect the ocean and all it makes possible, by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top. For people to thrive and live life to the fullest, the ocean must thrive too. And so we need to confront all that threatens it. Plastic. Sewage. Industrial exploitation. Climate change. In building and connecting communities of Ocean Activists motivated to make a difference, we gather the evidence and give voice to the issues that hold leaders to account. Today, we’re more than surfers. It’s more than sewage. We’re here because of the ocean. Let’s fight for it.
