Story

Before Covid 19, volunteers across the UK organised and attended hundreds of bucket collections in supermarkets, garden centres and high streets to raise vital funds for Dogs for Good. This year, most of our collections have been cancelled and it is uncertain when they will be able to resume. As a result Dogs for Good has lost thousands of pounds in much needed income.

During International Assistance Dog Week, from the 2nd - 8th August, we are appealing to our supporters to hold a virtual collection and help raise funds so we can continue to make life-changing differences for people with disabilities through the power of expertly trained dogs.

It's so easy to hold a virtual collection. Setting up a JustGiving page takes just a few minutes, and then you're ready to share it with everyone in your network - whether that's your friends, family or colleagues. You can also set your page up as a team if you are raising money on behalf of a group. Share your page on your social media, e-mail and text and remind everyone of the importance of the charity and the amazing ways our dogs change lives.

If you need help please don't hesitate to get in touch with the fundraising team by emailing events@dogsforgood.org.
