Story
Superheroes Series is the UK's one and only disability sports series for the Everyday Superhero! The mission is simple: to create fun, full-throttle, mass-participation sports events where people with disabilities – AKA Everyday Superheroes – call the shots & don’t have to worry about cut-off times or equipment restrictions. Everyone can do it - all they ask is that at least one team member considers themselves to have a disability of any kind.
The at home missions are that you have four weeks in which to complete your mission; for our winter ‘At Home’ missions you have two weeks. You can decide to achieve your goal on one day, over a few, or keep adding to your super distance every day, from the first event day to the last! It’s all very flexible.
You can choose to use one or many different modes (running/swimming/pushing/cycling, etc.) to complete your challenge. If you’re in a team, you might decide to do the challenge together using the same mode/s of transport, or in a relay doing all different things at different times. It really is super flexible!
You could head to your local park or leisure centre or even use your commute to school or work! The choice is yours.
Alternatively, participants can choose to attend the in person missions on 16 August or 7 December at Dorney Lake, Windsor.
The choice is yours.
