Welcome to the fundraising page for EPIC 6 Scotland!

After the huge success for EPIC 5 Cyprus last year, it is time to saddle up again! We are delighted to say that Edrington employees from across EMEA will be taking part in a c.200km charity cycle in Scotland on 4th and 5th September, in order to raise funds for Giving More International. Giving More International is a Scottish charity set up by Edrington to support employee fundraising. Donations made to Giving More International will, after being triple matched, be donated to staff nominated charities Cyrenians based in Edinburgh and Include Me 2 based in Glasgow. This final amount being split equally between the two charities.

Once again we are triple-matching, meaning that if our employees raise the £30,000 target, then the charities will receive £120,000.

As Epic 6 takes place in Scotland we have chosen two very impressive Scottish charities. Everyone is excited and has been on their bikes preparing for the challenge. As always, it wont be easy, but as a team we cant wait to push ourselves hard and have fun raising funds for these great causes!

Cyrenians is a homelessness charity based in Edinburgh. The organisation was created in 1968 by a group of students angry and disillusioned at the way people experiencing homelessness were treated. They developed a residential community model where volunteers live alongside those who had been street homeless.

The charity's mission is to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness through learning from lived experience; by delivering targeted services which focus on prevention, early intervention and support into a home; and by influencing changes in legislation and policy.

Include Me 2 is a Glasgow based charity committed to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with additional support needs, disabilities and mental health conditions. The charity aims to break down the barriers faced by people with disabilities and enable them to participate fully in their communities and society.

Include Me 2 believe that by being brave, they can tackle the barriers, challenges and obstacles their members face, enabling them to create, design and develop unique opportunities to engage and lead the change that their key stakeholders require to lead active and fulfilling lives.

One of their flagship community initiatives is their Bike Hub - more than just bikes, it's a project that is changing lives, habits, wellbeing and the environment.
