Story
I am taking part in the Edrington Epic 6 Scotland cycle and raising funds for Giving More International which after triple matching will donate this money to nominated charities - Cyrenians based in Edinburgh and Include Me 2 based in Glasgow. For every £10 I raise, the charities will get £40.
Starting by Arthurs Seat in Edinburgh we head to Berwick on Tweed along the cycle paths of our capital city to the Forth Coast to follow an established cycle route through coats and countryside to Berwick on Tweed. Close by the home of the Robertson Sisters, Cawderstanes, and the area that gave its name to Edrington. The home of Simpsons malt which produces the barley that makes up our spirit.
Leaving Berwick on Tweed and riding into England before crossing back to Scotland over a historic chain bridge past the Simpsons facility at Craigswalls. Returning to Edinburgh through the quiet roads of borders country and over the Pentland Hills to finish outside Holyrood palace.
