Story

Every year on Giving Tuesday, Esperanza Health Centers raises funds to support our clinics and the vital work they do in the community. This year, with over $1 trillion in federal Medicaid cuts looming – and more than half of our patients depending on this coverage – community support is more important than ever.

In spite of these challenges, Esperanza remains a beacon of hope for the communities that depend on our services. Since 2004, Esperanza has provided bilingual, high-quality primary care, behavioral health and wellness services to the community, regardless of immigration status, insurance status, or ability to pay. Our eight sites in Brighton Park, Little Village, Marquette Park, South Lawndale and West Lawn deliver care to more than 50,000 patients each year from communities across the Southwest Side.

This Giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise $25,000 to continue providing necessary care to our patients. Donations are critical to ensuring every person who walks through Esperanza’s doors receives the care, advocacy, and dignity they deserve.

• A gift of $1,000 covers four uninsured patient appointments, including labs.

• A gift of $250 covers one uninsured patient appointment, including labs.

• A gift of $50 covers a Patient Benefit Navigator appointment, helping five families enroll in vital benefits.

• A gift of $100 provides direct support where it is most urgently needed.

Every contribution makes a difference, and by giving a little, you can help heal a lot.
