This year marks my 10th anniversary at Esperanza, and in honor of that milestone, I’ve set a personal goal to raise $1,000 for Giving Tuesday. I know it’s an ambitious number—especially during a year when so many are struggling financially—but in the spirit of our theme, Give a little, Heal a lot, even the smallest gift can make a meaningful impact.

Whenever I listen to our patients share their stories, I’m reminded that while we care for more than 50,000 people each year, it’s the difference we make in one person’s life that truly matters. Esperanza isn’t unique because we offer affordable care—people can find that elsewhere. What makes Esperanza special is our commitment to providing exceptional, dignified, and compassionate care to people who are too often overlooked or given the bare minimum.

This is what drew me to Esperanza ten years ago, and it’s why I’m still here today. Our patients are met with respect, dignity, and genuine care—values I believe every person deserves, and values I’m proud to stand behind.
