Welcome to our JustGiving page! Over the next two years, EuroABS will be supporting the British Heart Foundation (BHF) by raising awareness of heart and circulatory disease and fundraising through participating in challenges and at events.

We will also participate in several BHF supported health and wellbeing engagement activities, to ensure a healthier workforce.

The first fundraising challenge we are taking part in is the British Heart Foundation’s new rowing challenge, ‘Row Your Own Way,’ where a EuroABS team will each row 6.8k – the length of the Gemini Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race - on the 11th of April in Canary Wharf.

The money raised by EuroABS will help the BHF fund vital research into heart and circulatory diseases like heart attacks, stroke and vascular dementia, and the risk factors that can cause them, such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Since forming in 1961, the charity has funded research that has contributed to lifesaving breakthroughs such as heart transplants, pacemakers, portable defibrillators, and valve replacements.

EuroABS’ CEO, Darren, has first-hand experience, with his daughter Rosie being diagnosed with congenital heart disease at a 20-week scan. She had complex heart surgery at just 10 days’ old and required further surgery in 2020. Early-stage VR technology, funded by the BHF, gave surgeons the unique ability to see every detail of Rosie’s heart before operating.
