The full-scale invasion of Ukraine has lasted for over three and a half years, destroying the country and ruining lives.

For us in Stand for U and our partners in Kharkiv, every life is invaluable. This is why we launched the "Evacuation for Ukraine" project in 2024.

Its mission is to provide evacuation vehicles to save civilians trapped in frontline territories.

Our Impact So Far

In just one year, we have sent two evacuation ambulances — Yvik & Amy — and six evacuation buses — Bob, Chris, Eric, Graham, Tom, and Jerry. Together, these vehicles have saved over 5,000 lives, transporting people from their homes in incredibly dangerous areas to the relative safety of shelters in Kharkiv. And now Fiona-the-Ambulance is on her way to Ukraine.

A Critical Need for Support

Unfortunately, there are still thousands of civilians left in these frontline areas with no hope of rescue other than from dedicated volunteers like our partners in Kharkiv. They work tirelessly, navigating damaged roads under relentless shelling. One of our buses, Bob, was severely damaged, and others are in urgent need of repair or replacement.
