On Sunday 9th June 2019 our team of "Fareshare Food heroes" will be embarking on a gruelling 50km journey across Sussexs Weald Way and Vanguard Way. Taking in a great variety of landscapes containing rolling hills, views from the open heathland of the Ashdown Forest and ancient woodlands and many more picturesque and spectacular heathlands.

The money raised will support the work of Fareshare Sussex, a small charity making a big difference by tackling food waste and fighting hunger. Fareshare Sussex works with the food industry to intercept good food and redistributes it to frontline charities and community groups that support vulnerable people across Sussex and Surrey.

The work of Fareshare is only possible through the hard work and dedication of a tribe of over 100 volunteers. Everyone in this team is either a staff member or volunteer so we see first-hand the difference your donation makes.

£10 will pay for the delivery of 50 meals. Reaching our stretch target of £2000 will enable us to provide 10,000 meals and save 4 tonnes of food from being wasted.
