Story

Recent unprecedented rains in Sindh Pakistan have caused widespread flooding and devastation. Millions including women, children and elderly have become shelterless, living in poverty and misery. They have lost their crop, cattles and livelihood and there is a real threat of starvation, malnutrition and spread of disease.

The Sindh Doctors Association UK have so far sent relief goods including food supplies, clothing, tents, medicines, mosquito nets etc.worth £12,000 through its volunteers and partner NGOs directly operating in the affected areas of Khipro, Sanghar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin areas of Sindh.

The scale of the disaster is huge and the suffering continues. We are launching a renewed appeal to our friends, families and communities in the UK to come forward. Your every penny counts.

Sindh Doctors Association has been serving the communities in Sindh since 1979. The basic aim is to improve the basic infrastructure in the health and education sectors. Access to health care is fundamental to our quality of life. It is essential in the daily struggle for survival for the poorest. Yet there are millions that live without basic services in health care and education. The ultimate goal is to provide quality basic education and skilled medical teams to improve these facilities for all the people to the highest level possible regardless of race, religion or gender.
