We are really excited to have a large team of 40 taking part in 'cheesegrater' 200m abseil - the tallest building abseil in the UK(!) on Friday 16 June in aid of Maggie's cancer support charity.

Maggies is a fantastic charity close to our hearts, we have supported them for a number of years, it's been 7 years since Maggie's Manchester was completed, our office has acted as one of the break stops during the Maggie's London Night Hike and Culture Crawl and we've had a number of our colleagues take part in all sorts of weird and wonderful challenges for the charity. Maggie's was set up to support people and families suffering with the effects of cancer, as well as championing quality architecture for their centres.

Maggie's offers practical and emotional support to people with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free. They receive no government funds and rely on the generosity of their supporters. They focus on a variety of areas from financial support, housing and benefits, help with managing stress and anxiety as well as side efforts of treatment and they offer family support. They offer these through 1-1 support as well as group sessions and courses.

There are 24 centres across the UK and 4 centres in London - welcoming 100+ visitors into each centre every day. They are aiming to open 30 centres by 2030, with Northampton and Bristol centres next in the pipeline.
