I'm taking part in the 200m Leadenhall Abseil - the 'cheesegrater' on Friday 16 June in aid of Maggie's cancer support charity. This is the tallest building abseil in the UK. Maggie's offers practical and emotional support to people with any type of cancer, at any stage, for free. They receive no government funds and rely on the generosity of their supporters. They focus on a variety of areas from financial support, housing and benefits, help with managing stress and anxiety as well as side efforts of treatment and they offer family support. They offer these through 1-1 support as well as group sessions and courses.
