For more than 46 years, Friends of Karen has been providing emotional, financial, and advocacy support – at no cost – to families in the New York Tri-State region caring for a child (from birth through age 21) battling cancer or another life-threatening illness, from diagnosis through treatment.

With your support, we relieve families of the hardship of paying for huge medical co-payments, multiple prescriptions, enormous travel costs for daily hospital visits, mounting expenses for utilities, housing, food and childcare, sibling support, and other necessities when facing a health crisis. They have never needed the Friends of Karen lifeline of support and our caring community more than now.
