Gatehouse Bank colleagues have chosen Depaul UK to be their charity of the year for 2025. Depaul UK is a homelessness charity supporting vulnerable young people aged 16-25 across London, Greater Manchester, and the Northeast. For over 35 years, our mission has remained the same; to provide safe housing, immediate support, and long-term solutions to those facing or at risk of homelessness. We focus on early intervention, prevention, supported accommodation, and specialist programmes, empowering young people to navigate the housing system and build independent lives.

Established in 1989, Depaul UK addresses the complex challenges faced by young people, including poverty, family breakdown, and mental health issues. We offer services such as our schools' programme, family mediation, and our Nightstop service for emergency accommodation. Our person-centred approach puts young people at the heart of our service development, aiming to help them build brighter futures with stability, skills, and confidence.

Depaul UK's vision is a society in which everyone, across the world, has a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our mission is to end homelessness and change the lives of those affected by it.

Gatehouse Bank colleagues will be fundraising by organising events, including sponsored runs, walks, and other challenges. Gatehouse Bank will also facilitate company-wide fundraising activities in aid of Depaul UK and look forward to supporting this amazing charity!
