The challenge!

At 4,167m high, Mount Toubkal, also known as Jebel Toubkal, is North Africa's highest peak. Set in the High Atlas Mountain range in Morocco. With roughly 40% less oxygen than at sea level, the altitude of Mount Toubkal will undoubtedly make this hike harder. So I'll be setting off with a group of like minded (or mad) folk with plenty of food and gear.

I'll be climbing across 2 days, camping overnight at around 3000m to acclimatise.

Depaul UK is a homelessness charity supporting vulnerable young people aged 16-25 across London, Greater Manchester, and the Northeast. For over 35 years, our mission has remained the same; to provide safe housing, immediate support, and long-term solutions to those facing or at risk of homelessness. We focus on early intervention, prevention, supported accommodation, and specialist programmes, empowering young people to navigate the housing system and build independent lives.

We offer services such as our schools' programme, family mediation, and our Nightstop service for emergency accommodation. Our person-centred approach puts young people at the heart of our service development, aiming to help them build brighter futures with stability, skills, and confidence.
