The recent surge in violent conflict has put even more strain on the people of Gaza, poor people who are already suffering from food shortages, a distinct lack of water and medicine, power cuts throughout the area and thousands of cases of COVID-19 now on their doorsteps.

Gaza has been faced with conflict for decades, leaving the people there vulnerable and in dire need of humanitarian support. With 60% of young people in Gaza being unemployed and 80% of Gazans needing financial assistance, countless families have no means to support themselves.

Their healthcare system is on the brink of collapse due to medical supply shortages and lengthy power cuts to hospitals. Now with COVID-19 and violent escalations in conflict, doctors are struggling to treat their patients.
