Our service has been operating since 1974, but since the end of 2023, HM Coastguard will no longer task Fleet Bay Inshore Rescue Service to respond to people in difficulty in our waters as we don't conform to The Rescue Boat Code.

It is imperative that we undertake the upgrades required to get the service up to the required standard as soon as possible and it is hoped that this campaign can help towards that goal.
