✨ Winter Appeal 2025 – Give a Little Joy ✨
This winter, Health, Heart, Hope is shining a light on some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, those who are rough sleeping while also living with mental illness.
Our dedicated Rough Sleeper Team works day and night across Kent and Medway to reach people experiencing homelessness, offering vital mental health support, crisis intervention, and a lifeline of compassion at the hardest of times. For many, they are the only point of consistent, non-judgemental care.
Research shows that around 80% of people who are homeless experience mental health difficulties, with many falling through the cracks of traditional services. Cold weather, hunger, and isolation only deepen the cycle of despair. But together, we can make a difference.
This year’s Give a Little Joy Appeal will provide Winter Survival Packs for those most in need. Each pack includes waterproofs, essentials, a dry bag, heat blankets and a Greggs food voucher - small comforts that offer dignity, warmth, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
💙 £75 could provide a whole pack to someone sleeping rough this winter.
Or you may wish to make a greater impact:
• £5 could buy a scarf and hat
• £10 could buy a Greggs Voucher for a hot drink and meal
• £20 could buy a sleeping bag.
Every pack donated will carry a card letting the recipient know who made their gift possible - a powerful reminder that kindness and community still surround them.
Every donation, big or small, brings light into the darkest of nights. Together, we can give more than essentials: we can give hope, safety, and a little joy.
