The Great North Air Ambulance Service keeps families together by saving lives. We provide critical care to the people of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

Story

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) brings pioneering pre-hospital care to the scene, coming to the aid hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year.

We rely on our three aircraft to cover an area of about 8,000 square miles, able to handle challenging conditions and land in varied environments such as mountain ranges, urban centres and busy motorways.

The charity needs in excess of £5million to keep our doctor and paramedic crews available 365-days a year for people in the North East, Cumbria and North Yorkshire.
