As an independent charity, BAC works with schools, youth and community groups, businesses and individuals. Since 1989, its created hundreds of thousands of exciting, challenging and motivating experiences that have transformed the lives of people of all ages, backgrounds, communities and abilities. BAC core projects and longer term programmes are prioritised to engage children and young people with physical and mental disabilities, special learning needs and people who are economically or socially disadvantaged. What will the money be used for?

Sponsorship from AWOL and other 30 Year Jubilee fundraising events will contribute to essential refurbishment of Belfast Activity Centre's Adventure Learning Park and other facilities within our site in Barnett Demesne.

This will ensure that BAC can continue to deliver high quality outdoor learning experiences to hundreds of thousands more young people over the coming years.
