The Graham Lee Injured Jockeys Fund Stable Staff Stakes

Friday 25th July will see the 'Graham Lee Injured Jockeys Fund Stable Staff Race' at Thirsk Racecourse. Twelve Stable Staff will take part, 'led up' by professional jockeys, raising funds for the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Its prime purpose is to provide appropriate help, medical, financial and otherwise, to current and retired jockeys who are injured, unable to ride or in need.

Story

Friday 25th July will see the running of the 'IJF Stable Staff Race for Graham Lee' held at Thirsk Racecourse.

The race, the idea of Adele Mulrennan, will see 12 stable staff line up to represent 12 trainers in support of Graham Lee and the Injured Jockeys Fund.

Racing over 7.5 furlongs just before the 1st official race Sky Bet have kindly agreed to support the event.

Each rider will have their mount led up by professional jockeys, who are all weighing room friends and colleagues of Graham.
