The Great British Dog Walk is a fun-filled sponsored walk that transforms the lives of deaf people.
Held at 13 stunning locations across the UK, The Great British Dog Walk is a great way to have fun, enjoy the great outdoors with your friends and family (with or without a dog!), and raise money to help deaf people to leave loneliness behind.
When you join the Great British Dog Walk you will receive a free stylish bandana for your dog, as well as a free activity pack full of fun things to do during your walk.
By taking part in The Great British Dog Walk, and getting yourself or your dog sponsored, you will be directly helping us to train more life-changing hearing dogs. Dogs like Leighton, who is transforming the life of his deaf partner Aston:
Come nighttime, Aston was scared of being alone, and becoming more and more tired as time went on. When he finally did settle, on many occasions he would wake in the night crying, unable to hear anything around him. When Leighton arrived, for Aston, it was love at first sight. His face spoke a million words. At nighttime, having Leighton, and knowing he’s trained for emergencies, gives Aston that feeling of security. Having Leighton has given Aston extra confidence around his hearing loss.
