That's why the Green Spark Fund sits at the heart of our work.

As our flagship grant programme, the Fund backs grassroots leaders and community organisations with the funding, encouragement, and support they need to turn local ideas into lasting impact. We invest in people who know their communities, understand their challenges, and are already working towards solutions for people and planet.

In its first year, the Green Spark Fund supported seven community-led projects across five countries. From restoring ecosystems and improving access to clean water, to creating sustainable livelihoods, empowering women and young people, and strengthening local resilience, each project began with a simple idea and a community determined to make a difference.

The results have been inspiring. But what inspires us most is knowing how many more ideas are still waiting for their chance.

Across the world, there are communities with the vision, commitment, and determination to create change. What they often lack is access to the resources needed to get started.

This year, we want to reach more communities, support more local leaders, and help more grassroots solutions take root.
