For my birthday this year, I’m supporting something very close to my heart: the Green Spark Fund.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting extraordinary people in remote area whose ideas, determination, and love for their environment and communities far exceed the resources available to them. Time and again, I’ve seen how a small amount of support, placed in the right hands, can create lasting change.

The Green Spark Fund is the heart of Communities for Nature, supporting grassroots leaders and community organisations working to protect nature, strengthen livelihoods, and build resilience in the places they know best.

We launched the fund last year and, in its very first year, supported seven inspiring projects across five countries: Nepal, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and the Philippines.

What inspires me most is that these solutions are designed and led by local communities themselves. We simply help provide the early funding, mentoring, and support they need to bring their ideas to life.

This year, we’d love to support even more communities, and you can help make that possible.
