Lucia di Lammermoor is a tale of forbidden love and family betrayal: Lucia loves Edgardo, her family's enemy, but her brother is determined to marry her off for political advantage, with devastating consequences.

Opera brings together music, drama and visual spectacle to create something extraordinary. Costumes are an essential part of that experience, bringing the characters to life and immersing audiences in their world – but they come at a considerable cost.
