Over 21,000 women are diagnosed annually with a gynaecological cancer and sadly 21 women will die from a gynaecological cancer every day. So 58 women and their families will receive life changing news each and every day.

GO Girls believe there is much work to do. We have all heard of breast, cancer and bowel cancer, but could you name the 5 gynaecological cancers? Yes, there are 5: ovarian, endometrial (womb), cervical, vaginal and vulva cancer. Survival is still sadly very low in ovarian cancer with overall survival rates not improving much in the last 20 years.
