About Prost8 UK:

We’re dedicated to making advancements in prostate cancer treatment by raising awareness of less invasive options and funding treatment equipment. Despite the existence of cutting-edge, targeted, and minimally invasive focal treatments (HIFU, cryotherapy, and electroporation), many men with a new, low-grade diagnosis are not informed about these options.

Advancing Treatment Options:

Our mission is to ensure that men with low to intermediate-grade prostate cancer have access to these less-invasive treatments that can significantly improve lifestyle outcomes. Focal ablation techniques provide effective treatment while minimising the impact on daily life.

The Problem We Aim to Solve:

Currently, too many men undergo overtreatment with radical methods like radiotherapy and surgery, leading to life-altering side effects such as incontinence and erectile dysfunction. The NHS is not rolling out focal treatments quickly enough, and Prost8 UK is here to change that.

Funding Focal Treatment Suites:

To address this issue, we are actively working to raise funds for focal treatment suites, each costing around £300K. These suites will then be installed in NHS hospitals across the UK, providing men with more options and better outcomes and reducing the current postcode lottery..
