Six Children’s Charities, One Trek: Himalayan Adventure.
Six leading children’s charities – Acorns Children’s Hospice, Children’s Hospice South West, Demelza, Helen & Douglas House, Naomi House & Jacksplace, and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices – have partnered for a unique trek.
Trekkers will be spending four days trekking through the Indian Himalayas in October 2026. They will be trekking over varying terrain for up to 8 hours a day, camping in basic campsites along the way, and exposed to altitudes up to a maximum of 2875m (9429ft).
Anything you can give to help them reach their fundraising target would be hugely appreciated.
As the world's first children's hospice, Helen & Douglas House has been caring for local terminally ill children and their families since 1982. The charity helps children and their families at the hospice, at home and in hospital with respite stays, pain relief, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support. It needs over £6m a year to provide its services and 90% of this comes from public funding.
