Helen & Douglas House is a homely place for local children, living with life-limiting and terminal conditions, and their families. They provide care in a warm, loving environment. They are a place where families can make the most of their time together and create happy memories in their last days, weeks, months or years together.

Our amazing team, which includes doctors, nurses and carers provide exceptional care tailored to the needs of the child throughout their life, whether that life lasts for hours, days, months, or years. We help improve the quality of life for children living with a wide variety of complex and life-shortening conditions. Our experienced team provides multi-faceted support for families during these incredibly hard times and when life comes to an end, we are there to help them survive the loss of their child.

London to Paris Cycle Challenge

On Thursday 5th September, our cyclists will embark on an unforgettable three day cycle challenge where they will travel over 60 miles each day, covering a total of 196 miles by the time they have reached the Eiffel Tower on Saturday 7th September.

Every year we care for around 175 children and their families from across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. We provide essential holistic support during some of the most difficult times they will face, while helping them create precious memories to treasure forever.
