Become part of the Giant Pledge Team with your school to help raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to continue their pioneering work into childhood cancer research. Go big and bold with a head shave or even something as simple as a cake sale, either way why not rally your school to do something that brings everyone together. As part of the #HeadtoHeadChallenge, Head Teachers, pupils and staff can then challenge others!

Donations will go to the children's team at The Royal Marsden to help fund much needed research into childhood cancer as well as help The Royal Marsden staff continue the outstanding work they do for children and families affected by cancer.

Follow the lead of Mr Culverwell, Headmaster to two pupils at Reigate St Marys that have had cancer. George and Florence have been incredibly brave through months of intensive treatment so why not join in and brave the shave to help other children with cancer.

"As Headteacher I was challenged by one of our Year 6 pupils who was having her hair cut off to raise money for The Giant Pledge to Help Beat Childhood Cancer to do the same. I accepted the challenge and was sponsored to have my head shaved by George and Florence the week Florence finished her 2.5 years of treatment!

As a hairless Headteacher, I would like to challenge other Headteachers to do something big and bold to support the cause as part of the #HeadtoHeadChallenge".
