We are Hillside Scout Group, based in the foothills of the North Yorkshire Moors, and we are on a mission!

In August 2026, we are attending Poacher – an International Scout Jamboree bringing together over 5,000 Scouts and Guides from around the world for a week of adventure, challenges, and new friendships.

But we need your help to get there! Attending Poacher is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but it comes with significant costs. Over 2025, we will be fundraising to make this experience affordable for every Scout in our group.

How You Can Help

Our biggest fundraiser is a 21-mile sponsored walk in May 2025, where our Scouts will trek from Captain Cook’s Monument to Cod Beck Reservoir via the Cleveland Way. We will also be running fundraising activities later in the year, so please support them!
