Help Keep Hollow Lane Club Open for Children and Young People with Complex Disabilities
For 25 years, Hollow Lane Club has been a place where children and young people with complex disabilities can have fun, make friends, build confidence and enjoy opportunities that many take for granted.
Today, that future is at risk.
Like many charities, rising costs and increasing financial pressures have left us facing an urgent funding gap. While we have a clear plan to secure the club's long-term future, we need immediate support to continue delivering the services that more than 100 children and young people and their families across Devon rely on.
For many of those we support, mainstream activities simply aren't accessible. Some young people require specialist support, including 1:1 or 2:1 staffing, to participate safely and fully. Without Hollow Lane Club, many families would have very few opportunities where their children feel included, understood and able to thrive.
Here's what our parents/carers have to say:
"Life-changing is an overused phrase but the Hollow Lane Club really is, for us and for so many families facing similar challenges."
"At Hollow Lane Club J is given such different opportunities that she wouldn’t have otherwise – we have had a really positive summer with J being give the chance to spend time with her friends.”
"The Hollow Lane Club forms a vital part of our day to day lives, knowing that our son goes somewhere where people know him, where he enjoys going and has fun, gives us great peace of mind, especially when his behaviour can sometimes be challenging.”
We need your help to keep these opportunities alive.
These aren't just activities. They're friendships, confidence, independence and belonging. They're moments that many families struggle to find elsewhere.
Hollow Lane Club receives no government funding and relies entirely on charitable donations and parent fees. We have worked hard to keep our clubs affordable and accessible, but we cannot overcome this challenge alone.
We are urgently appealing for donations to protect our year-round programme.
Your support will help keep our clubs running, maintain specialist support for children with complex disabilities, and protect a service that so many families across Devon depend on.
You can help by donating, sharing our campaign with friends and family, or fundraising for The Hollow Lane Club. Every share, every pound and every fundraising effort brings us closer to protecting these essential services.
Together, we can ensure that children and young people with complex disabilities continue to have access to the friendships, support and opportunities they deserve.
Help us keep Hollow Lane Club open. Help us protect a lifeline for local families. 💛
