Donations to the Home & Dry appeal in support of major improvements to the Bridgnorth Locomotive Works have topped £430,000, and we are creeping ever closer to our target of £475,000 which is fantastic news indeed.

Whilst fundraising continues at pace, the project itself is to be phased to avoid any delays in getting things underway, with the main phase concentrating on the roof and all associated works necessary, including the foundations for the crane and electrical works. The roof has a very limited life span, just 2 years at most, and it is critical that this is addressed as soon as possible, with the crane being installed after the building is made safe and dry. The total cost of this first phase is £380,000 and so we are already able to fund this in its entirety. The next phase is for the installation of the crane and for this to happen, we need to reach our target of £475,000. Can you help by donating a small amount? Thank you in anticipation of your support.
