Hope’s Big SleepOut has, for the past 12 years, raised over £20,000 each year for those who are homeless and vulnerable in our community. For 2025 our event is called ‘Cold and Unseen’, to help participants understand the impact homelessness has on the lives of so many people in the local community.

Raise awareness of the many problems associated with homelessness and help us raise money to help us support as many vulnerable people as we can.

On Friday 7th February 2025, we are taking over the carpark at the Mercure Hotel in central Northampton for one night, to illustrate how it feels to be a rough-sleeper on one of the coldest times of the year. You will be sleeping out for 12 hours with just a sleeping bag and a cardboard or plastic shelter.

Bring your friends and family, come as a team from work, or just on your own!

Sleep out ‘Cold and Unseen’

Part of this year’s event will be a deep dive into the impact of homelessness. We have additional resources about homelessness to share. In addition, you can sign up to some extra activities during the sleep out event, designed to help you better understand the realities of rough-sleeping.

Sleep Out – ‘On-Site’

Take part on site on your business premises. Use your carpark or work grounds to help us support people facing homelessness and hardship.

If you decide to do it on your grounds, we will fully support you with planning up to the night of the event!

It’s a great team building experience and we can arrange for a member of the Hope team to come and visit you on the night.
