Story
Horatio's Garden London and South East is located at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, home of the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre. The garden has been created by celebrated garden designer Tom Stuart-Smith for patients, their loved ones and NHS staff to enjoy. The garden is cared for by Head Gardener, Ashley, and Admin Assistant, Tracey, who are supported by a wonderful community of volunteers. As well as maintaining the garden and planting, the team leads garden therapy, art sessions, events and activities for patients, their friends and family. Horatio's Garden improves mental and physical wellbeing, positively impacting patients' long-term rehabilitation.
